The Human Isolated Bacteria
Was born in an abandoned mining town where the Amazon meets the Andes. His father was a horny catholic priest who got hepatitis B in the early 70’s after experimenting with various types of animals. Due to a lack of appropriate medical facilities, the priest was forced to go to a nearby animal hospital where he had an affair with a veterinarian nurse. T.H.I.B. was the product of this unusual fertilization, but - being a symbol of sin - he was set aside in a crocodile cage where he was studied for many years. One day, however, THIB was able to use stolen medical instruments to escape from this prison lab. Free at last, but scarred by his isolation, he quickly developed an addiction to Kola Dumbo (a popular South American soft drink), and it was the unusual sound of him banging on empty cans that aroused his interest in music. However, it wasn’t until he started playing with yopo, that he seriously began exploring electro-merengue, bachatatek and tokuyo-house.
Who is THIB? And how did he disappear? There remains much unanswered about this creature that lived in obscurity - only occasionally emerging wearing a yellow and red lycra suit and a monitor over his head. According to some rumors, THIB was an indirect victim of the recent war on terrorism. As a wave of anthrax attacks swept accross the United States (where THIB was infiltrated at the time), he accidentally happened to swallow some cypro antibiotics, which caused some serious consequences eventually leading up to his death. However, several bacteria/microbes survived and went into hiding. And they did so at THIB’s birthplace - that same abandoned mining town where the Amazon meets the Andes (yes… a nice place where Kola Dumbo is readily available) . Here they began to reorganize and create a new project - www.microbiorecords.net - which would follow the teachings of THIB. The disappearance of him - and the enigma that he created - have only elevated his status to one of a martyr.
